So we wanna talk about today the hidden cost of dirty air, Wanna thank you guys for tuning in again. Dirty filters and dirty air, how do we solve that problem?
And how do we make sure we’re keeping our energy efficiency rating on our systems at top peak performance, and also not breathing in dirty air? When’s the last time you got your furnace or your AC maintenance? This is gonna be an evaporator coil now. On the outside, it can look super clean.
The problem is, is that this sits on top of the furnace, and the inside at the bottom can get super dirty. We open this coil up every time we do a maintenance, and we check that inside to make sure we’re not having clogged coils and intern having a really bad and non efficient furnace or AC.On top of that, you talk about your condensers. These should really be cleaned annually, whether that’s just a spray down, or whether those cotton woods are really bad in your backyard that cotton gets on those coils.
It makes it really hard for this condenser to breathe and cool down your refrigerant, and in turn make your home cooler. Solutions for that is getting on a service plan. So make sure you’re getting texts out there to check and make sure that these coils are staying clean on your system.
Another big thing is going to be getting those cleaning done when they’re needed. Our techs will recommend that, hey, this coil is looking dirty. We need to get it clean. That’s gonna be you as the homeowner saying, yeah, let’s get that clean.
